Helpful Web sites:

Dinosaur Research Resource. The National History Museum has a site for kids to learn about different kinds of dinosaurs.  They can search dinosaurs based on body shape or name and can also see which dinosaurs could be found in the United States in prehistoric times.  It tells the kids what the name means and gives them a visual representation of the size of the dinosaur compared to humans.  It has a lot of pictures and is very interactive.
